| Description: The variations on this type of ring is endless. Think two tone metals, think stones, think hammered textures… The side bands give a solid frame to whatever you would like to put in between. Come and learn how to make this type of ring and make use of these techniques on your own designs. We will show you the proper use of various grades of solder, and teach you how to apply a patina on the silver to really let your wire design stand out. |

Spend the morning learning several techniques that will provide you with foundation skills needed to shape and saw almost anything. Learn all the finishing steps for a dazzling polish and shine . Make the different earrings or a pendant as you practice skills with several common jewellers’ hand tools. |

Making Mokume Gane, preparation,operating a kiln, surface patterning, making mokume plate or wire. |

1 x flat plate of Fine Silver and Copper Mokume 2 x 2 cm max. 0.8mm thick. OR 1 x Fine Silver and Copper Mokume "D" shape wedding band. |

Saturday Workshops
How To Enroll:
- Select your workshop - note the date and
time.
- Phone us on +27 (0)12 326 5649 and make your
booking.
- Fax or e-mail proof of payment to us.
- We will then phone you to confirm your
booking.
Payment:
- Fees must be paid in order to enroll in a
class or workshop. Phone to book your place and
pay the workshop fee by direct deposit.
- The fee must be received within 24 hours of
booking - otherwise you will loose your place.
Our Cancellation Policy:
- No credit will be issued unless we must
cancel a class. Participants will be notified of
a canceled class 24 hours before (if not sooner)
and will be issued with a credit voucher.
- If unable to attend a class, we require a
least 2 working days notice of your cancellation
in order to issue a credit voucher for a future
workshop or class, or one day notice for half
credit.
- Sorry, no credit for cancellations on the day
of class or workshop.
